With the aid of animal trainer Susan Victor and a tame lion rescued from a circus, Jaime’s student Katie begins to overcome her excessive shyness. However, several local farmers are concerned about the big cat’s visit to the school, blaming the animal for the recent slaughter of their livestock. That weekend, Susan leaves Jaime and Katie in charge of her wild animal ranch; they soon find themselves confronted by the armed ranchers, who demand the death of the lion. Jaime and Katie must find a way to prove the lion’s innocence and track down the wild cougar that has been carrying out the killings…
